Samsung finally launched its flagship lineup Note series smartphone. It is the first time in Note lineup history that two variants of the phone are launched instead of one. These are Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+.
The S-Pen in the new Note series gets a new upgrade. Now it features an accelerometer and a gyroscope sensor enabling users to use it as a motion controller. You can navigate the UI with the gestures and movements of S-Pen.
Galaxy Note 10 Specifications
Galaxy Note 10 comes with 6.3″ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display, with a 1080p+ resolution having a pixel density of 401ppi. This time the camera cutout in the display is moved in the centre. The screen also supports HDR 10+ and Dynamic Tone Mapping for great image quality.
Talking about the camera, the main sensor is a 12MP sensor with optical image stabilisation(OIS) and dual aperture (f/1.4 and f/2.4). Another sensor is a telephoto lens which is 12MP with OIS. There is a third ultra-wide sensor of 16MP with 123-degree ultra-wide angle. In the front, it has a 10MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
The phone can record 4K video and offers Super Steady feature, Live focus video (earlier it was only for photos). There are many video editing feature available which can easily be used using the S-Pen.
For the performance part, it is powered by Snapdragon 855 and Exynos 9825, different processors will be available in different countries.
The new phone features 25 watts fast charging. It comes with a 3500mAh battery. However, it lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. USB Type-C headphones are included in the box. It comes in two variants an 8GB/256GB variant and a 12GB/256GB variant.
Galaxy Note 10+ Specifications
Galaxy Note 10+ comes with a 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display, with a QHD 1440p+ resolution having a pixel density of 498ppi. Other features are same as Note 10.
In terms of camera, it features the same sensors that are in Note 10, in addition to that it also features a 3D TOF sensor which Samsung calls ‘Depth Vision Camera’. It can be helpful in creating 3D images of any real-life object with some 3D Scanner app. It also features a 10MP camera on the front.
This phone is also powered by Snapdragon 855 and Exynos 9825. Depending on the availability in different countries.
This phone comes with a whopping 45 watts fast charging. However, the charger for 45 watts fast charging is not included in the box, it will be sold separately. This phone comes with a 4300mAh battery. The phone is launched in two variants, a 12GB/256GB variant and 12GB/512GB variant. Storage can also be extended through memory card in this phone.
Both these phones will come in LTE and 5G variants. However, the 5G variant is limited to some countries only based on the availability of the 5G technology.
Pricing and Availability
These phones are available in three colour variants – Aura Glow, Aura White and Aura Black. Select markets will also get Aura Pink in Galaxy Note 10 and Aura Blue in Galaxy Note 10+.
The preorders will be available from 23rd August. In terms of pricing, Galaxy Note 10 will start from $949 in the US and Rs. 69,999 in India. Galaxy Note 10+ will start from $1,099 in the US and Rs. 79,999 in India up to $1,199/Rs. 89.999 for 12GB/512GB variant.
